The Lees Corner PTA is made up of parents, teachers, and school administrators and serves as an advocate for our students. We assist teachers in the classrooms, field trips, the cafeteria, and with after school activities. The commitment of our dedicated volunteers allows Lees Corner students to experience and enjoy many enriching programs that would not otherwise be available.

The Lees Corner PTA is also an advocate for the parents. We provide a means of communication with the school administration and teachers on many issues throughout the school year. We also provide parent education programs that address topics of general interest or of specific current concern.

• Promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school and community.
• Assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children.
• Encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools.
• Speak on behalf of the children and youth in schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children.
• Foster an open relationship between educators, parents and the general public that will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.
• Encourage school spirit and pride.
